Project Description
Phase 2 of the Bow Valley College Redevelopment & Expansion project involved the development of seven floors of educational space, a single floor of service space (mechanical, etc.), and a three level underground parkade. As part of this development, a total of two and a half floors of tenant space (approximately 100,000 sq. ft.) were developed as shell space, later developed as space for the University of Lethbridge, Athabasca University, and Olds College. In addition to educational partner tenant space, significant provisions were developed into ancillary spaces for the requirements of future tenants, including within the underground parkade, service spaces, loading dock, base building systems, and data centre.
As educational partners came on stream, the required modifications were made to those base building systems to accommodate the specific needs of each sub tenant.
